In the wake of the attack on a gay nightclub in Florida by an Islamic gunman, the same old issues continue to raise themselves with depressing regularity, along with a few new ones.

I am of course basing this on the trust that there remains enough people within society who are free of the worst ravages of this particular brand of insanity to force a change, or capable of realization.

At this stage, it’s all getting a bit ridiculous. Obama’s continued failure to say the words ‘Islamic terrorism’ is indicative of either affiliation or a denial that disqualifies him from further office based on mental health grounds. Of course I am be disingenuously naive: it is part of a perverse progressive logic that appears to be laying the groundwork for the Islamization of all western societies.

It is so bad that even gunman Omar Mateen did not trust the Obama’s admin to report his motivation honestly, instead deciding to call in his motive to 911 just prior to the attack, because presumably, he knew that the Obama admin and press outlets would do everything they could to avoid making the link to Islamic terror.

Obama’s dogged refusal to utter the name of a foe that has declared war on the rest of the world, instead choosing to focus on the enemy’s access to weaponry, is akin to Winston Churchill in 1941 decrying Nazi Germany’s access to twin engined bombers during the Blitz without mentioning Hitler or the Nazis specifically by name. It is simply ludicrous and criminally insane.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump is being touted as a dangerous demagogue, but in all fairness, they are making things childishly easy for him. When you have an incumbent leader and presidential candidate, both of whom refuse to identify the enemy they face, Trump’s unbridled ability to identify that enemy and say its name rather makes him look like the only person at the top table who is living in reality; when all you have to do is merely point out that the emperor is naked, your opponents (or rather the ideology they inhabit) make it an incredibly simple game in times like these.

Until Obama, Clinton and the likes of Trudeau here in Canada start living in reality instead of ideology, they will continue to be challenged and embarrassed by the realities of the world in which we live. But don’t hold your breath, liberals do not acknowledge mistakes, and consistently double down on the coercive rhetoric when challenged with such realities.

 

 

O.k. so this is how it goes: if you don’t want to be part of the European Union, you  are a Little Englander – a small minded bigot, a xenophobe and racist. It matters little that you can to communicate practical & philosophical reasons why you oppose the creation of a bureaucratic superstate build upon collective surrendering of sovereignty; or why you don’t think it’s a good idea being part of a stagnating and restrictive trading block; or why you have an issue with an unelected commission imposing immigration quotas under pain of financial duress.

None of that matters, because those on the liberal left who want you to be part of this brave experiment in collective failure have built their entire political & ideological modus operandi on slur slinging and coercive spin.

At this stage being called a bigot or a racist by these gameless tub-thumping clowns should be seen as a compliment.

They should really be asking themselves why they find themselves bedfellows with progressive Conservatives like Cameron – who is clearly doing the bidding of a shadow elite. Or why they, the same people who opposed globalization 10 years ago are now so eager to be part of an E.U. superstate? Or why Barrack Obama did an Op-Ed in the Daily Telegraph to remind British people that their best interests lie in Europe? No agenda there then.

Well, it seems that Little Englander disease is now spreading throughout Europe.

It would appear that this ideological sickness is spreading and the recorded cases of Little Spaniards and Little Greeks disease are rising, with a significant number of cases also being reported in Germany.

There are two areas in particular where attitudes towards the E.U. are poor to say the least: the handling of the immigration crisis and economy. With nearly 94% of Greeks and 88% of Swedes saying that they disapprove of the way the E.U. is handling the immigration crisis, and a majority in Greece, Italy, France, Spain, Sweden & the U.K saying that they disapprove of the way the E.U. has handled the economic crisis.

In a sign that Europe’s publics increasingly want an end to the principle of ‘ever closer union’, more than twice as many people surveyed – some 42 per cent – said they wanted powers returned to their national parliaments than said they wanted powers transferred to Brussels.

As the British head to the polls, just 6% of the public in the UK wants such an outcome. And only 8% of Greeks favour more power for the EU. The strongest backing for an ever closer Europe is only 34%, in France

Someone needs to explain to them that their condition is in direct relation to their inherent racism and xenophobia, and nothing to do with practical experience living under a collapsing E.U.

Remember, in progressive ideology: if the dream is correct, reality must be made to fit.

As in Europe, Trudeau’s Liberal party are rapidly exchanging progressive soft-shelled fascism – the coercive silencing of critics by bullying & shaming, for the more full-blown variety – financially destroying & jailing critics.

Within the European Union, the tyranny of progressive decency is now so rampant that countries like Hungary, who after looking at what has happened in France, have the temerity to say: thanks, but no thanks to immigration quotas, are being told by the E.U. that they will take them or face hundreds of millions of euros in fines.

No doubt the same medium (Facebook) that Islamic purists like ISIS are currently using to sell sex slaves at $8000 a go, will be used here to monitor and ensure that Canadians are not criticizing groups like ISIS or Islamic practices like selling sex slaves; child rape; ethnic genocide or the execution of homosexuals.

What should worry conscious Canadians is that under Trudeau’s tenure, all of this can be achieved with be a smile; a press-up and a mic drop for his ideologically insane audience who will eagerly lap up every ounce of the mandatory decency he can produce.

Trudeau falls into a category of progressive liberal world leaders who claim that Islam is a religion of peace and that ‘terrorism has nothing to do with Islam’ – Hillary Clinton.

There are only two available conclusions to a statement like that: either they are lying, or they are stupid. Sorry, it’s one or the other. All the information is out there and the Islamists themselves are quite open about this reality; the prophet Mohammed himself oversaw the execution 600-900 men and boys. Islam is built upon deception, violence & subjugation.

As Ezra Levant stated during the Rebel event in Vancouver last weekend, rather than the rare occasion of a spectacular terror attack here in Canada, what Canadians should fear is a ‘creeping Sharia’, the grounds for which Trudeau’s current government is actively laying.

The move to silence critics is part of a pattern already established In Europe, and which is providing rich fallow earth for a creeping Sharia here in Canada.

This is a progressive model that for the past 25 years in Europe has taken the form of bullying and shaming, with labels of racism and xenophobia for anyone who took issue with the direction society was heading.

In doing so, the engineers of these policies have set the spring for a nasty visceral backlash, that is only now just starting to gain momentum, and which has manifest itself in the rise of nationalist right wing parties in Europe.

However, instead of addressing those concerns and the growing resentment at policies that do not serve the people or their best interests, progressives like Trudeau, Merkel, Hollande & Clinton are doubling down on the rhetoric and seeking to implement laws which strike at the very heart of freedom of speech.

The progressive elites of Europe have a new recipe for war, and they want everyone to try it. Gone are the days of wars inspired by territory or national interests. The new recipe is a brilliantly simple ideological model that works something like this:

Introduce policies based on ideology; ignore effects created by those policies; vilify dissenters & continue with fingers in ears = war

For the past twenty five years the narrative on ever closer ties with the European Union & mass immigration has been controlled by the progressive left. Anyone who had a problem with this narrative was branded a racist or a xenophobe and told to go away.

However those people don’t go away. As the effects of those policies increase, they find another way of making their voice heard, as we can see in the predictable rise of nationalist parties across Europe – it’s fairly simple how the current situation came about if you are willing to be objective about it.

The political spring has been set for a nasty visceral backlash that is only just starting to build momentum. However, rather than address the issue and face the gathering storm, the elites in their arrogance & folly, have decided that they will simple ignore it and continue on as planned.

This will go down as the perilous pitfall of progressive thought: that ideology trumps reality.

The E.U. is facing a perfect storm of its own making. Its failure to manage either the economic or migrant crises, means that opting to remain within the E.U. at this stage would be akin to throwing your lot in with the Ottoman empire at the end of the 19th Century.

Polls also suggest that any country opting out of the Euro experiment via a referendum, could act as a catalyst for others seeking to follow suit. Read More

When things get tough, as they did during the economic crisis and again during the immigration crisis, we get to see the true face of E.U. rule behind the benign facade.

Those countries who mismanaged their budgets had their leaders replaced with E.U. appointed technocrats; those countries who were not comfortable taking large numbers of migrants were informed they would take the quota allocated to them or face a fines of 239,000 Euros per person. So much for for countries like Hungary, Slovakia, Poland & the Czech Republic deciding such things for themselves.

And this week President of the Commission, Jean-Claude Junker warned British voters that they would be treated as ‘deserters’ if they voted to leave the union.

Junker, the former leader of Luxembourg must appreciate the effect his choice of words convey: that ‘deserters’ are traditionally shot. It is highly inflammatory and displays the sort of autocratic arrogance we have come to associate with E.U. ministers. Read More

Rather than avoid the spectre of war in Europe and secure economic harmony – the two objectives the E.U. was primarily set up to achieve – it has, through a progressive policy of forcing ideological pegs into cultural holes, ensured the servitude of those countries who cannot live up to economic expectations, and sown the seeds of future ethnic wars continent wide.

In February, Hungary announced a referendum on migrant quotas imposed by the E.U.

In an unprecedented challenge to Brussels’ authority over national law, the Hungarian Prime Minister, Viktor Oban announced the country would hold a referendum on the question. States are legally bound by decisions made in the Council of Ministers, and there is no precedent for a state putting such a decision to popular vote.

“The Hungarian government believes that neither the union nor Brussels nor the European leaders nor any European body has the authority to do this,” Mr Orban said. “We feel that introducing a settlement quota without the consent of the people is nothing but abuse of power.”

Donald Tusk, the European Council president, warned that countries rejecting refugee measures would push Britain to leave the EU, saying the crises are “strictly interconnected.”

Sowing the Seeds of Ethnic War

In France, half of their armed forces are deployed on French streets to police the final stages of an experiment which, even by the more generous interpretations, has failed.  What we are seeing in France is the start of an ethnic war. People returning from Belgium after years of living in the country describe it as “fucked.”

These are the startling realities that supporters of continued Islamic immigration won’t acknowledge; continuing with the same policies and hoping for a wind change is criminally naive. It would be one thing if Islamist attacks only killed those who apologize for and excuse Islamic violence, but unfortunately they don’t.

As political philosopher, Roger Scruton points out in The Uses of Pessimism,

“Since the sixties Western countries have adopted policies in the matter of immigration that no person schooled in the elementary truths of pessimism would have endorsed. Anybody who has studied the fate of empires, and the difficulties of establishing territorial jurisdiction over communities that differ in religion, language & marital customs, knows that the task is all but impossible, and threatens constantly to break down into fragmentation, tribalism or civil war. Take the lid off multi-ethnic and multicultural empires – such as the Ottoman or communist Yugoslavia – and bloodshed and destruction ensue.”

The failure to see culture and race as considerations by those driving policy, has ensured that the conditions that developed over a thousand years in Yugoslavia, have been recreated in less than two generations in modern Europe. A European ethnic civil war is a almost a certainty at this stage, it’s now merely how big that war is.

On June 23rd people in Britain have the opportunity to set course and escape the inevitable scramble for life jackets by voting to leave the E.U.
