The Battle For Europe

Sources are suggesting that the Queen has spoken out in favour of a British exit (Brexit) from the E.U. during a lunch. Read More

Just in case there is any truth to the matter, the progressive knives came out in the federalist Independent whilst the Guardian denied the story had any credibility.

With four weeks to go before voters go to the poles, if this campaign has served one purpose, it is to highlight the rapidly polarizing nature of politics in Britain.

The Leave campaign boasts a bevy of heavy hitters from business and politics, whilst the Remain campaign has relied heavily on fear tactics; painting an apocalyptic picture of life outside of the E.U.

Life for Britain outside the E.U.

E.U. Commission President, Jean-Claude Junker lent a sober hand by threatening Britain with repercussions if they leave. Read More

As life inside the Union is increasingly looks like this:

European Union: Dead Man Walking

Unknown

The E.U. is facing a perfect storm of its own making. Its failure to manage either the economic or migrant crises, means that opting to remain within the E.U. at this stage would be akin to throwing your lot in with the Ottoman empire at the end of the 19th Century.

Polls also suggest that any country opting out of the Euro experiment via a referendum, could act as a catalyst for others seeking to follow suit. Read More

When things get tough, as they did during the economic crisis and again during the immigration crisis, we get to see the true face of E.U. rule behind the benign facade.

Those countries who mismanaged their budgets had their leaders replaced with E.U. appointed technocrats; those countries who were not comfortable taking large numbers of migrants were informed they would take the quota allocated to them or face a fines of 239,000 Euros per person. So much for for countries like Hungary, Slovakia, Poland & the Czech Republic deciding such things for themselves.

And this week President of the Commission, Jean-Claude Junker warned British voters that they would be treated as ‘deserters’ if they voted to leave the union.

Junker, the former leader of Luxembourg must appreciate the effect his choice of words convey: that ‘deserters’ are traditionally shot. It is highly inflammatory and displays the sort of autocratic arrogance we have come to associate with E.U. ministers. Read More

Rather than avoid the spectre of war in Europe and secure economic harmony – the two objectives the E.U. was primarily set up to achieve – it has, through a progressive policy of forcing ideological pegs into cultural holes, ensured the servitude of those countries who cannot live up to economic expectations, and sown the seeds of future ethnic wars continent wide.

“I believe that the European Union is in the process of collapsing on itself for one simple reason. The two pillars on which it’s founded – Schengen and the euro – are in the process of crumbling,”  Marine Le Pen, Leader of the French National Front. Read More

In February, Hungary announced a referendum on migrant quotas imposed by the E.U.

In an unprecedented challenge to Brussels’ authority over national law, the Hungarian Prime Minister, Viktor Oban announced the country would hold a referendum on the question. States are legally bound by decisions made in the Council of Ministers, and there is no precedent for a state putting such a decision to popular vote.

“The Hungarian government believes that neither the union nor Brussels nor the European leaders nor any European body has the authority to do this,” Mr Orban said. “We feel that introducing a settlement quota without the consent of the people is nothing but abuse of power.”

Donald Tusk, the European Council president, warned that countries rejecting refugee measures would push Britain to leave the EU, saying the crises are “strictly interconnected.”

We have entered a most dangerous time in the European history.” Donald Tusk, European Council President

Sowing the Seeds of Ethnic War

In France, half of their armed forces are deployed on French streets to police the final stages of an experiment which, even by the more generous interpretations, has failed.  What we are seeing in France is the start of an ethnic war. People returning from Belgium after years of living in the country describe it as “fucked.”

These are the startling realities that supporters of continued Islamic immigration won’t acknowledge; continuing with the same policies and hoping for a wind change is criminally naive. It would be one thing if Islamist attacks only killed those who apologize for and excuse Islamic violence, but unfortunately they don’t.

As political philosopher, Roger Scruton points out in The Uses of Pessimism,

“Since the sixties Western countries have adopted policies in the matter of immigration that no person schooled in the elementary truths of pessimism would have endorsed. Anybody who has studied the fate of empires, and the difficulties of establishing territorial jurisdiction over communities that differ in religion, language & marital customs, knows that the task is all but impossible, and threatens constantly to break down into fragmentation, tribalism or civil war. Take the lid off multi-ethnic and multicultural empires – such as the Ottoman or communist Yugoslavia – and bloodshed and destruction ensue.”

The failure to see culture and race as considerations by those driving policy, has ensured that the conditions that developed over a thousand years in Yugoslavia, have been recreated in less than two generations in modern Europe. A European ethnic civil war is a almost a certainty at this stage, it’s now merely how big that war is.

On June 23rd people in Britain have the opportunity to set course and escape the inevitable scramble for life jackets by voting to leave the E.U.

With Federalist Friends Like These

images

The Remain campaign in the upcoming British referendum on continued E.U. membership must be wishing that allies like Jean-Claude Junker would resist the urge to help.

The President of the E.U. Commission’s idea of assistance is to threaten British voters going to the polls that they will be treated as ‘deserters’ if they decide to leave the E.U.

In his greatest intervention in the referendum contest, the President of the European Commission said that the UK would face “consquences” and be treated as a “third country” following a break with the EU.

Historically threats go down really well in Britain, and are almost certain to activate the deeply embedded cultural oppositional defiance inherent in so much of the national character; especially when they come from the former leader of Luxembourg – a country that barely exists without the E.U. and which the German army didn’t even consider worthy of a stop for lunch in 1940.

The President finished off being helpful to the Remain campaign by suggesting that the package of concessions British Prime Minister David Cameron secured in order to persuade voters to remain in Europe will “not be easy” to deliver.

With Federalist friends like these who needs a counter campaign?

However, the Leave campaign faced a similar issue recently, when French National Front leader Marine Le Pen offered to come to the U.K. to help Nigel Farage persuade people that membership of a federal Europe is not in the national interest, which he politely declined.

Trudeaumania: List Under Satire

images-3

Can someone please call The Guardian a taxi, they’ve had too much to drink.

Imagine a West Wing episode come to life, and that’s basically Justin Trudeau. The winsome Canadian prime minister blew up the internet again this week via an old photo of him larking about for the cameras, balancing his entire weight on his wrists on the edge of a desk in trademark manly-but-sensitive fashion. One more for a photo album that so far includes Trudeau cuddling pandas, Trudeau proudly proclaiming himself a feminist, Trudeau wearing a Barbie-pink sweatshirt in solidarity with kids bullied for looking different – and of course a newly elected Trudeau last autumn answering questions about why half his new cabinet was female, with the words “because it’s 2015”, and a shrug that clearly meant “so deal with it.”

Who else is still pulling off the whole hopey-changey thing, still surfing a wave of sunny progressive feeling when the US and much of Europe are increasingly convulsed with rage against either poor migrants or privileged elites, or both? While Britons contemplate a supposedly “kinder, gentler politics” of the left that turns out to come garnished with vicious personal attacks and repulsively antisemitic undercurrents, lucky old Canada gets a photogenic ex-snowboarding instructor calmly explaining why it’s not so mad to run a deficit.

Just little bit more? Go on then…

From the outside at least, Canada seems to be pulling off the elusive trick of remaining tolerant, relaxed and at ease with itself in challenging circumstances with more aplomb than most. You’d think all progressives would be hammering on the door to find out how they do it. But while any leftish policy wonk can give you chapter and verse on Scandinavia, few have made a life’s work of studying Canada, even though its quietly self-effacing culture seems in some ways a more realistic vision of what a future progressive Britain could be.

The Myth of Integration

The Ofsted chief inspector of schools in Britain, Sir Michael Wilshaw has warned that thousands of children are in danger of being radicalised as they remain hidden from authorities in unregistered schools across Britain.

Hold on a minute. Are you telling us that in modern Britain there are unregistered schools that do not meet national standards or inspection? Apparently.

Where are these schools?

Last month, inspectors issued seven warning notices to suspected illegal schools in London, Birmingham, Luton, Wolverhampton and Stoke-on-Trent, where they found around 350 children on the premises…

Inspectors have identified 100 suspected unregistered schools across the country since a team was set up in January to investigate the problem.

January? They’ve only been looking since January and already they’ve discovered 100 unregistered schools; that’s 20-25 per month!

The article in the Telegraph does not mention if any group in particular is responsible for dragging parts of modern Britain into the tribal lands of Pakistan, but obviously if ‘radicalisation’ is a major concern, and the list includes London, Birmingham, Luton & Wolverhampton, you have to be ideologically impaired not to work it out.

Needless to say, this is a small price to pay for living the progressive dream of Multiculturalism. The fact that a minority with a significant & violent extremist element are operating an educational system outside of the national curriculum or scrutiny, should only be of issue to racists.

Everyone else should just relax. This has never gone wrong in the past.

I Got 99 Problems and Mo Bitchez is One

Sophie Trudeau has reached out to the public. After the Trudeaus’ recent trip to Washington to see how the Obamas live, she’s decided that she needs more help.

“I’d like to be everywhere, but I can’t, I have three children at home and a husband who is Prime Minister. I need help. I need a team to help me serve people.”

Trudeau currently has a staff of three: a cook and two nannies to help with their three children, but Michelle Obama boasts a phalanx of 24 assistants to wipe her bum and open her mail etc, and Sophie Trudeau wants some of that.

He comments have caused controversy and lead to a #prayforsophie campaign where Canadians can leave emotional support for the Prime Minister’s wife.

Interestingly, even the U.K’s Guardian newspaper wanted in on the action. It ran a reader’s opinion piece, as it increasingly does when out of ideas, which at first glance appears to be satire. Read Article

And if you thought the Guardian could not get its nose further up Trudeau’s arse, the paper’s Gaby Hinsliff penned what must be the most sycophantic piece of progressive Trudeau propaganda to date. Enjoy

This is why we fight.

The Wrath of Khan

images-3

This week, newly elected Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan addressed Donald Trump’s proposed ban on Islamic immigration. It should have gone something like this:

Khan: ‘Let us into your country.’

Trump: ‘I’d rather not. Some of you people are violent extremists who seek our destruction.’

Khan: ‘You better let us in. If you don’t, some of our people may become violent and seek your destruction.’

Trump: ‘Like I said…’

Instead, Trump offered to make an exception in the case of Khan.

And if Khan’s self incriminating logic and affiliation with Islamic extremists wasn’t enough, he then went on to put himself firmly in the camp of the ‘enemies of humanity’ by promising to help Hillary Clinton get elected as President of the United States. Read More

We won’t even bother addressing his ideologically inconsistent and naive comments about being a Muslim and a feminist, as we’ve already covered that fallacy in a previous article.

Jihadis Gearing Up For A Busy Summer

The Independent reports on a plot to attack a number of European soft targets by an Islamist cell based in Italy. The discovery came after police arrested a number of suspects in a counter terrorism operation. The targets included Rome’s Collosseum and London’s Canary Wharf.  Read More

As the Telegraph also reports:

There are also fears that a huge ‘fan zone’ to be set up near the Eiffel Tower during the Euro 2016 football Championship will “offer terrorists a chance for a massacre,” according to a former French police chief.

Frédéric Péchenard, who headed the national police until 2012, urged the authorities to scrap plans for the Paris fan zone, where spectators will gather to watch matches on giant screens. Read Full Article

No shit! Besides European, and in particular, Turkish beach resorts (read more), the softest target this summer must be the Euro 2016 football tournament in ethnically fractured France, with the England v Russia game on June 11th no doubt top of the Jihadi hit list.

Socialism in Venezuela: Eating Cats & Dogs

images

In the socialist paradise that is contemporary Venezuela, they have attained a state of revolutionary utopia where people are eating cats and dogs to stay alive.

The situation in Venezuela is reaching all out chaos, as crippling socialist policies have resulted in a devastating power and food shortage, as well as looming political instability. This is a country with more oil than Saudi Arabia.

Ramón Muchacho, Mayor of Chacao in Caracas, said the streets of the capital of Venezuela are filled with people killing animals for food.

Through Twitter, Muchacho reported that in Venezuela, it is a “painful reality” that people “hunt cats, dogs and pigeons” to ease their hunger. People are also reportedly gathering vegetables from the ground and trash to eat as well.

No One Could Have Predicted That (Part 1: Austria)

Unknown-2

Angela Merkel’s Summer of Love has claimed its first victim, Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann.

The BBC reports:

Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann has resigned after losing the support of Social Democratic party colleagues. Mr Faymann came to power in 2008 but has faced criticism within his party since the far right won the first round of presidential elections last month.

Earlier this year, he yielded to pressure from his coalition partner, the conservative People’s Party, to cap the number of people allowed to claim asylum in Austria after the arrival in 2015 of more than 90,000 asylum seekers.

That decision prompted criticism from trade unionists and the SPO’s youth wing who clearly felt that 90,000 wasn’t anywhere near enough to rupture the fabric of Austrian society.

There was further pressure on Mr Faymann after far-right Freedom Party candidate Norbert Hofer won the first round of the presidential election a fortnight ago. The green candidate was second while Mr Faymann’s Social Democrats and the centre-right People’s Party failed to make it to the run-off vote on 22 May.

To be fair, Mr Faymann seems like a decent man caught between the inflexible ideology of those on the fringes of his own party and the practical reality of mass immigration.

Of course no one could have predicted that the open door immigration policy adopted last summer would lead to right wing parties doing well during elections or the fall of national leaders.

We should consider Mr Faymann the first of many.
