I have been reading recently about how easy it would be for the Biden or Trudeau regime to crush a real insurrection.
Regime mouthpieces in the media, leftists on social media, & others with little historical appreciation of what happens when the people have finally had enough, all inform us that a modern ideologically subverted army would easily deal with a grass roots uprising.
So here a few practical considerations I have come up with after reading what they think will happen:
Firstly, contrary to what these people seem to believe, no modern insurgency is going to arrange itself neatly in a Napoleonic phalanx in open ground waiting to be droned. Any uprising in North America will be a 4th generation guerrilla campaign – a hit and hide operation aimed at demoralizing the enemy and disabling their ability to operate.
Secondly, major population centres will become a burden not an asset, as will responsibility for protecting and maintaining vital infrastructure like the local power grid; water supply and logistical corridors. Without electricity, water or food, ‘Sanctuary Cities’ like Seattle, Portland or New York will become ‘Siege Cities’ in days rather than weeks. After destroying access to electricity and water, all the insurgents would have to do is wait for these cities to fall into anarchy. Meanwhile a significant portion of regime assets would have to be allocated to keeping these population centres operational and fed – think Hurricane Katrina x 5 and then add on top a domestic insurgency being conducted by very highly skilled and motivated enemy.
Think the Biden or Trudeau regime could manage that?
The first thing your average smart city dwelling Biden or Trudeau supporter would know about it would be when the power was cut; after which the water would stop running, then the shelves would be empty. And then finally, just when they thought it couldn’t get any worse, the local army of imported migrants or withdrawing homeless addicts would start preying upon them. In such a scenario, support for the regime would collapse within weeks.
Meanwhile the nationalist insurgents will be able to hide in plain sight within supportive semi-rural and suburban communities. Most regime supporters live in large coastal cities, whilst supportive communities for the nationalists reside in largely semi-rural communities with modest population density and access to farmland. These communities are also recognized as being highly self-sufficient and resourceful.
Logistical Vulnerabilities
As I mentioned earlier, incumbency comes with responsibilities that quickly become liabilities – power, water & food etc. for regime cities.
The other problem a leftist regime would have is maintaining security of logistical corridors through enemy held territory. The Taliban demonstrated how easy it is to ambush and destroy convoys moving through mountainous country. The territories of both the U.S. and Canada are vast, with a sparse number of routes that have to pass through geographical choke points. Bridges would also be highly vulnerable to demolition charges, as would airports to mortar or RPG fire.
We The People v Just Doing My Job
As we saw during the crushing of the Trucker Protests here in Canada, police officers will betray the people and serve tyranny. In that respect, the police are probably the regime’s greatest asset. However, their motivation for doing this is purely monetary – they are paying the mortgage, or putting their kid through college. There is no big moral or spiritual motivation that drives them on – they are just doing a job.
Conversely, the loyalty of the military is much less reliable. The rank and file army in both Canada and the U.S. are largely not supportive of the current regime in either country. Sources within the military inform me that Trudeau is hated, and in the civil war scenario run by the U.S. Govt, it was predicted that anything up to 75% would mutiny away from a left wing dictatorship (Biden admin), and join a nationalist resistance. Add even a modest percentage to the already radicalized former military in either country, and that becomes a no win situation for the regime.
Talibanization
The rise of Christian Nationalism in the both the U.S. and Canada is also a significant factor – once you have a base that believes, as a rapidly increasing number do, that this is in fact a battle between good and evil, and that the policies of both the Biden and Trudeau regimes are ultimately designed to collapse and destroy anything of substance that is good, then the number of active operatives that you need to defeat such a regime drops significantly. Just look at the Taliban.
As has been illustrated many times during the numerous proxy wars of the late 20th and early 21st century, a guerrilla enemy that is either morally or spiritually convinced of their struggle, is an enemy that will ultimately win. Tyrants who employ mercenaries to do their bidding will lose every time.
The Poor Quality of Regime Zealots
The poor morale and lack of knowledge or motivation of those that overwhelmingly support either the Biden or Trudeau regime is also worth considering.
As a broad group these people have few practical skills, and I am not even talking of military experience. They have been emasculated; they exist well in the meta-world of the smart city or in middle management or academia, but by-and-large do not have many practical skills – I meet them all the time. They don’t know how to do much outside of the brave new world they inhabit. They are lost without Google Maps; order Uber Eats, and have just enough food for the next few days. They are as a group, impractical, and are also unlikely to either posses weapons, or know how to use them.
These people are not really fighting for anything. They have been dragged along and rendered childishly reactive by decades of ideological subversion. They pledge lukewarm support for the current thing as dictated by the official narrative. Nothing in their lives really means anything – they don’t believe in God, and they have a relativist morality, which, in a critical situation, is as useful as a hammer made out of jelly. In short, this is not a support base that is either useful or effective – once again is yet another liability – 5 days max before these people start melting down.
Contrast that with their enemy:
Predominately the nationalists are going to be practical and common sense minded; have experience in hands on trades; military training or experience in hunting; be community based, highly motivated both politically and / or spiritually, and ultimately be fighting for the future of their children against an enemy that they view as at best tyrannical, and at worst evil.
A civil conflict, in which one side believes they are fighting against Satan, and the other side believes that a man can be a woman, there can be only one outcome.
Whichever way you cut this, I cannot see how the quality of support the regime retains is, in any way, shape or form, equal to the growing movement that now radically opposes it. After decades of ideological demoralization, the spring has been set so tight, that when it finally unloads, the energy released will sweep away all before it.
